Terms of service
These terms apply to Singulence products, currently Pollproof at poll.singulence.com. Last updated 20 September 2026.
Who we are
The products are operated by Singulence, run by Benjamin Papadakis, Valomandras, Kalivia Thorikou 190 10, Greece. Contact details are in the legal notice.
The service
Pollproof lets a presenter run live polls and question-and-answer sessions that participants join from their own devices. The free plan includes the full live session with no limit on participants or polls; results are kept for a limited time. The Pro plan adds session history, exports, custom branding and additional presenter features. The current plans and prices are shown on the product site and apply at the time of purchase.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Participants joining a session do not need an account. You may close your account at any time; closing it deletes your sessions and results in line with the retention rules shown in the product.
Payments, invoices and refunds
Paid plans are sold through Polar Software Inc. (polar.sh) as merchant of record. Polar is the seller for the purchase: it issues the invoice, charges VAT or sales tax where applicable, processes the payment and handles refunds. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the paid period. There is no annual contract.
The session guarantee
If Pollproof fails during a live session on a paid plan, that month is free. Tell us by email within seven days of the session and we will arrange the refund of that month through Polar. This is in addition to your statutory rights.
Acceptable use
Do not use the products to send unlawful, harassing or deceptive content, to attempt to disrupt the service or access other users' data, or to violate the rights of others. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the products available and reliable, but they are provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
Changes
We may update these terms and the products. Material changes to the terms are announced on the product site or by email before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Greece. Consumers in the European Union also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence.
