Scope

This Impressum applies to singulence.com and to every Singulence product that links to it, on singulence.com subdomains and on their own domains, among them zeroremain.com, litrevs.com, nttie.com and caretjack.com, unless a product states otherwise.

Purchases and billing

Paid plans for Singulence products are sold through Polar Software Inc. (polar.sh), acting as merchant of record. Polar is the seller of record for those purchases: it issues the invoice, collects and remits VAT or sales tax, and handles payment processing, refunds and chargebacks. Product terms, including the free tier and any guarantees, are described in the terms of service.

Liability

The content of this site is prepared with care, but no guarantee is given for its accuracy, completeness or timeliness. Links to external sites lead to content outside our control; the operators of those sites are responsible for it.

How this website handles personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

What this site does not do

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking, embeds no third-party fonts, scripts or media, and does not profile visitors.

What is processed, and why

Server logs

When you open a page, the hosting provider records the usual technical data of the request (IP address, time, requested page, browser identifier) in server logs for the operation and security of the service. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure website, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you enter, together with the IP address the form was sent from, are transmitted to our own mail server and stored in our mailbox so that we can answer you. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, and our legitimate interest in handling enquiries, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any follow-up, and then deleted.

Product sites

Singulence products on subdomains (for example poll.singulence.com) process additional data needed to provide that product, such as account details. Each product describes its own processing where it applies.

Usage counts on product sites

To see whether a product is being found and used, poll.singulence.com counts on its own server how many browsers open its start page, start a room, create an account or subscribe, and which link brought them there (for example the tag on an advertisement, or a referring site). No cookie is set for this and no third-party service is involved. The IP address and browser identifier are turned into a code with a key that changes every day and are not stored themselves, so a visit cannot be traced back to a person after that day. Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing whether the product works, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Hosting

This website is hosted in the European Union (Netherlands) by a provider based in the United States; any access to data from outside the EU is covered by the EU standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability, within the limits of the GDPR. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Greece the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
